Once you’ve decided which radiators you want in each room, you can begin to think about how to fit it in with your décor. Your radiator should be as much part of your interior design scheme as the lamps and wall colour. There are plenty of ways to decorate your radiators to suit any luxury interior.

Whether you're looking for a luxury column radiator to help you finish off a period house or if you're just looking for living room radiators, kitchen radiators or bedroom radiators. We have you covered with everything you could ever need.

We have a few tips and tricks to inspire you to do just that!

Consider The Finish Of Your Radiator

If you are choosing a reflective finish, be aware that this will influence the heat output as the shinier the surface, the less it radiates heat. If you are painting your radiator to suit your décor,  consider a matte finish so you don't inhibit the heat circulating the room.

Anthracite grey radiators seem to be on the trend upwards A and this increase in popularity seems to be here to stay as they can fit into any modern home. We also have a section for contemporary radiators that will help you find an uber-modern radiator.

Paint It

With radiator paint and primer, you can transform your radiator into a standout focal point. Especially if you favour a splash of colour outside of the room's colour scheme.

Or pick a colourful radiator and stylish shape/size that will fit your style or be a work of art within your room design. Vertical radiators, for example, can make this work really well. The same can also be said for flat panel radiators.

If the radiator is in a child’s room paint it a colour that it stands out. It'll make their play space all the more vibrant and fun.

Blend In Your Radiator

Alternatively, paint or decorate the radiator so that it matches your décor so perfectly that it blends in like camouflage. This works better with rich, darker colours for a seamless room addition.

You could even use the radiator as part of a mural or one of our many picture radiators – be creative with it. Use it as part of a feature wall, making use of the shape and style of the radiator like this DQ Drifter Horizontal.

Put A Shelf On Top

You could put up a nice-looking shelf directly above the radiator, using thick wood or marble or try a floating shelf concept.

This way it doesn’t feel like the radiator is taking up valuable floor space but is fulfilling not one, but two important functions! Heating and extra display or storage space!

Cover It

If you have chosen a radiator for its price, and efficiency or have an older, unsightly radiator you’d like to cover up, then get yourself a radiator cover.

You can find stunning, ventilated covers that become another functional piece of furniture which suits the room décor and gives you extra shelf space to decorate.

You can also disguise a radiator with a cover so that you can’t see it easily – this is an equally good measure for keeping small children from burning themselves or tampering with your radiator.

The important thing to remember is that your radiator needs to do its job and keep your home warm, so however you decorate your radiator (hide it, disguise it or flaunt it), as long as it can still heat up and warm a room, there’s no reason it shouldn’t look fabulous too.
